The state-wide ideas competition "inspired" organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship (ZfE) at the University of Rostock took place on 13 July 2022. The most original business ideas and pioneering research results from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern were honoured here. The aim of the annual competition is to identify innovative technologies and creative ideas for services or business start-ups based on science, for example. The competition is aimed at students, graduates and scientific staff at universities, colleges and research institutions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The focus of this year's nationwide "inspired" ideas competition at the University of Rostock was not only on financial support, but also on the opportunity to exchange important experience and make valuable contacts as well as intensive coaching. Twenty teams from the two categories "Students" and "Researchers & Graduates" presented their ideas to a jury of entrepreneurs and scientists in Rostock.
The top three winners in each category will receive training vouchers worth up to 15,000 euros. They also have the opportunity to take part in the "Berlin Valley Tour", where they have the chance to get to know Berlin's start-up scene and take advantage of intensive coaching programmes.
