Business plan competition SEGEL SETZEN! 1st place: Team Immolution: Dr Alexander Reder, Dr Christian Hentschker and Vanessa Halecker, University Medicine Greifswald, Interfaculty Institute for Genetics and Functional Genome Research. The project is about "antibody production in Bacillus subtilis" for diagnostics and medicine using a novel method without the use of laboratory animals.
On 17 November 2022, this year's winners of the cross-university business plan competition SEGEL SETZEN! were announced in the auditorium of the University of Greifswald. The Greifswald teams "Immolution", "acadim" and "MeerLeben" took the first three places. The "House of Krauts" team received a special prize from the University of Greifswald.
For the second time, Stapellauf NORD°OST° is organising a lecture series on practical start-up theory. The title "From the idea to the start-up" is both a claim and a programme.

On 17 November 2022, this year's winners of the cross-university business plan competition will once again be chosen. Individual prizes of up to 3,000 euros and a special prize from the University of Greifswald are up for grabs.
The first step towards founding a company has been taken! On 8 August, we received the good news that the HanseDeeg team's application for an EXIST start-up grant had been approved. Our congratulations go to Dinah Petersen, Kathrina Ambrosius and Andreas Moll from the HanseDeeg team.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs has launched a new guideline for the promotion of innovative start-ups through a living allowance - the so-called start-up grant. "Start-ups based on innovative products or services are often more risky than conventional business areas. The grant supports founders of innovative start-ups in the fields of engineering, natural sciences and the creative industries.
The jury, sponsors and audience have decided on the winners of this year's UNIQUE ideas competition. The competition promotes the spirit of innovation and business start-ups at the Greifswald research centre. The winning teams will now receive support in the further development of their ideas and in founding a company.
