The cabinet today adopted the first comprehensive start-up strategy of a federal government. The aim of the strategy is to strengthen the start-up ecosystems in Germany and Europe. Following the cabinet's decision, implementation of the measures, which are divided into ten fields of action, will now begin.
"Economic policy projects for the future must also be
difficult times like these. The start-up
strategy is therefore a very important signal.
1. strengthen financing for start-ups,
2. make it easier for start-ups to attract talent - make employee share ownership more attractive,
3. ignite the founding spirit - make start-ups easier and more digital,
4. strengthen female start-up founders and diversity in start-ups,
5. facilitate start-up spin-offs from science,
6. improve framework conditions for start-ups orientated towards the common good,
7. mobilise start-up skills for public contracts,
8. facilitate access to data for start-ups,
9. strengthen real-world laboratories - facilitate access for start-ups,
10. put start-ups at the centre.
