Geodata for a wide range of applications

Among the more than 200 employees nationwide and in Poland, there are also numerous Geographers and geologists. Daniel Rabe (Dipl. Ing. Surveying FH) is the office manager in Miltzow (which is about halfway between Greifswald and Stralsund). He has been with the company for over 20 years and can tell you a lot about the GEO Group's diverse areas of responsibility.

Surveying ships, mobile laser scanners, drones and high-precision total stations are used to collect onshore and offshore geophysical data, which is then analysed and processed with the help of geoinformation systems. This data is indispensable for the planning, construction and maintenance of bridges, roads, tunnels, coastal protection facilities, harbours, pipelines and wind farms in Germany and abroad. But also for various Environmental analyses seabed explorations and analyses of deeper soil layers can be of great importance.

We are looking forward to interesting backgrounds from the practice of a medium-sized company with a special field of activity and of course to seeing you on 09.10.2024 from 17:00 in the Zukunftswerft, Baderstraße 6/7 in Greifswald!

There is great interest, but places are limited. We therefore ask you to register at gruenderbuero@uni-greifswald.de
