On 20 September at 6 p.m., a travel lecture will take place as part of the Arrival and Orientation Weeks at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences. Jessica Zenner will present her book "Gegenwind - Mit dem Fahrrad zwischen Feuer und Eis".

Despite an irrepressible aversion to cycling Globetrotter and HOST student Jessica Zenner After a long illness, she set off in autumn 2021 to fight the wind metre by metre and learn to love the big and small things in life. She explains how this came about and how the breathtaking landscape of Iceland helped the student find her way back to her body in her Travel lecture on the book of the same name "Headwind - by bike between fire and ice", which was recently published.

Participation is free of charge. The reading will take place on campus in House 21, Room 216. Registration takes place via Moodle, leisure activities "Arrival and Orientation".
