Our Female Founders accelerator programme will now enter its third round in November 2022. The second batch of \"Female Founders\" concluded with a pitch event on 5 September. The participants presented the business concepts they had developed during the programme at the University of Greifswald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ideas ranged from a reusable and technically innovative coffee-to-go cup to digital self-determination and a book project for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gwendolyn Camilla G\u00fcsmar has been thinking about how billions (it's actually BILLIONS!) of coffee-to-go cups no longer have to end up in the bin. Her solution: the \"Thermogrind\" reusable cup, which uses a simple technical device to provide freshly flavoured coffee on the go. The idea was developed at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Katja Thielke from Stralsund and illustrator Maren Reents, also from Stralsund, presented their joint project of a children's book in which the Pomeranian sheep \"Stormy\" experiences exciting adventures in the most beautiful places in our federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and takes its young readers along for the ride. In the process, the children learn interesting facts about the country, its people and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luise G\u00f6rlach from the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences is also pursuing a book project. The topic is highly topical: it is about the digital self-determination of users on the World Wide Web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
