A jury of experts assessed the financial, technical and organisational implementation of the business concepts of the participating start-up teams. They presented a broad spectrum of innovative business ideas in the technology fields of digitalisation, health, education and the environment. \"This is the second time we have held the competition across universities and this year we were once again able to mobilise innovative and fascinating business concepts from students and university staff,\" says Heinrich Cuypers from the start-up agency Stapellauf NORD\u00b0OST\u00b0 of the participating universities of Stralsund, Neubrandenburg and the University of Greifswald. \"It should be emphasised that two of the start-up teams are using the synergies of cross-university collaboration.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In recent years, an average of one to two start-ups per year have emerged from the competitions. \"As a result of last year, we were able to report four start-ups. And we are optimistic that we will be able to confirm this figure for 2022,\" says Dr Stefan Seiberling, Head of the Centre for Research Promotion and Transfer (ZFF) at the University of Greifswald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
